This pattern uses two hanks of 12 ply boucle mohair. Try choosing two complementary colours and see what happens.
Wind them into balls first. Alternate between the two balls by knitting two rows from one ball and then two rows from the other. Carry the yarn loosely up the side of your knitting or wrap the yarn over the last stitch of the second row.
2 x 100gms 12 ply hand dyed mohair
Cast on 5 stitches.
Increase at beginning and end of each row by knitting into the front and the back of the first and last stitch until you have 45 stitches.
Increase only each end of every second row.
Continue, until you reach the desired size or until you only have enough yarn to cast off - usually a bit smaller than the size of a golf ball.
